Ryan Stewart as LUKE

Ryan Stewart is a Melbourne based actor, currently training under the tutelage of Peter Kalos at the Melbourne Actor’s Lab.

He has appeared in a number of short films and theatre productions, most recently FEED (Ringtail Theatre), the regional tour of The Truth is Longer Than a Lie (Typefast Productions), Take a Seat (Thatcher’s Boy Theatre), and the previous and upcoming productions of The Motherf**ker With a Hat (Lab Theatre Company/Vass Productions).

Ryan is excited to be joining the production team of FRED the ALIEN once again, after appearing in their Melbourne Fringe and Midsumma seasons of Michael and Phillip Are Getting Married in the Morning.

Ben K. Ronec as JEREMY

Ben K. Ronec has been acting and modelling since he was a little guy. Beginning at the Children’s Performing Company of Australia and a recent graduate of the 16th Street Actors Studio, he has travelled between Australia and the United States to hone his craft.

Having appeared in such television dramas as Better Man (2013) and Never Tear Us Apart: The Untold Story of INXS (2014), Ben is currently studying Musical Theatre at APO Arts Academy and Dance World Studios.

What Ever Happened to Jeremy Baxter? marks his Midsumma debut.

Bayne Bradshaw as MARTY

Bayne Bradshaw is a passionate up-and-coming actor, singer, writer, and director.

He trained at Monash University and Left Leg Studios, attaining a Bachelor of Performing Arts and a Diploma of Musical Theatre, respectively. Throughout this time, he appeared in numerous plays, musicals, shorts, and bands, with credits including Cosi, Beyond Therapy, The Age of Reason, Spirit Medium, The Phantom of the Opera, Shining Armour, Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat, Chess, Legally Blonde, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Tick, Tick… Boom!

He has also appeared in numerous episodes of Neighbours, The Mole, and Dr. Blake Mysteries, as well as penning and producing the musical drama Writer’s Block.

What Ever Happened to Jeremy Baxter? sees Bayne’s return to Midsumma, having performed in both Boys Have Skin and FRED the ALIEN Productions’s Michael and Phillip Are Getting Married in the Morning in 2018.

Jeffrey Bryant Jones as ETHAN

Jeffrey Bryant Jones has had a passion for theatre all his life. He has performed in and directed plays in the Melbourne, Adelaide and Castlemaine fringe festivals and has won numerous awards along the way.

Having retired from full-time journalism and editing in October 2016 to pursue his passion for acting and theatre, he is the artistic director of Hobo Playhouse theatre company based in Maldon, Central Victoria.

Jeffrey is delighted to be giving something back to the craft that has given him so much over the years.

His recent performances include Graeme in Michael and Phillip Are Getting Married in the Morning (FRED the ALIEN Productions), Dad in The Sum of Us (Creswick Theatre Company), and Mr Brownless in The Zipper (WHAM).

Jeffrey is thrilled to be working with FRED the ALIEN again and is excited to be playing Ethan in this production. He hopes you enjoy the show.
